New Food Labelling Requirements - More Than Just a New Label

Women-checking-label.jpgThe Provision of Food Information to Consumer Regulations has now been published; bringing with them major changes that effect more than just labels.  New requirements for marketing materials and websites will now be caught requiring a more global business approach to ensure compliance; policies, procedures, training and work instructions will need to be updated, all of which need planning and internal stakeholder involvement.

How can FoodChain help?

We provide a suite of services intended to help your business through the transition, including:

  • Gap Analysis of current practices versus the new requirements
  • Amendment of internal policies and procedures
  • On-site training
  • Website evaluation
  • Specification and labelling re-designs
  • Pack copy generation

Our advisory team, lead by Consultancy Services Director Stuart Shotton, key contributor to foodmanufacture.co.uk, The Grocer and EuroparlTV; will provide you with the tools and the knowledge to make the transition as painless as possible.

To download a copy of the Regulations (as of 1st January 2012) please click on the link below; and feel free to contact us with any questions.
